Taking a look back at 2025

I am so proud of what my team and I accomplished this year!

We hosted a variety of events across the district, including food distribution, the Property Tax and Rent Rebate and SEPTA Senior ID Clinic, a Mental Health Fair, an Office Meet-and-Greet Cookout, and much more.

Behind the scenes, we’ve already begun organizing events for the new year that I can’t wait to share within the coming weeks, so keep an eye out!

Thank you for making 2025 so special. I’ve been able to sit down and connect with so many outstanding residents and people. I’m so excited to carry this momentum into the new year!

Nearly $449,000 secured for Darby Township!

I’m so happy to announce a $448,908 grant from PennDOT has been approved for Darby Township! The funds will be used to modernize West Oak Lane, Rively Avenue, and Union Avenue. The funding comes from Green Light-Go Program to improve traffic safety and mobility by reducing congestion and improving traffic flow.

Pennsylvania is left behind… again

Workers in multiple states are getting a minimum wage hike- including New York and New Jersey (again)- but not Pennsylvania.

We often hear from the other side that employers in Pennsylvania will flee to other states if the minimum wage is increased. But where would they go? Every state surrounding Pennsylvania has raised its minimum wage at least once since 2009.

A strong economy is built on a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work. House Democrats have repeatedly passed bills to boost Pennsylvania’s minimum wage, but they are continuously killed by Senate Republican Leaders like Joe Pittman and Kim Ward. You can send a message on your behalf to your state’s Senate leadership here.

Enough is enough. Our neighboring states are leaving the commonwealth in the dust. It’s past time Pennsylvania raises the minimum wage.
