Especially in these times, I believe government should be more accessible.

In a recent video, I asked for your ideas on improving our district office. Several of you mentioned that evening hours would be appreciated. Beginning Thursday, Feb. 5, our Royersford district office will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. These expanded hours will be offered on the first and third Thursday of every month.

My staff is here to help with any Pennsylvania-related issue or concern, including matters relating to PennDOT, unemployment compensation, Department of Human Services (SNAP, Medicaid, etc.), Treasury Bureau of Unclaimed Property, and more.
 

Next week in Harrisburg

The House is in session Feb. 2 – Feb. 4, which includes:

  • A joint meeting on AI in Healthcare with the House Health Committee on Tuesday and a full meeting of the Communications & Technology Committee on Wednesday.
  • Recognition of Pennsylvania’s Principal of the Year, Dr. David Wiedlich (Radnor Middle School), who is a resident of Limerick Township. Congratulations! We look forward to welcoming you to the House chamber.
 

 Route 422 update from PennDOT

Here is what to expect on Route 422 next week:

  • Monday, February 2, through Friday, February 6, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a periodic lane closure will be in place on westbound U.S. 422 between the Sanatoga (Evergreen Road) and Hanover Street interchanges.
  • Monday, February 2, through Friday, February 6, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, a periodic lane closure will be in place on eastbound U.S. 422 between the Hanover Street and Sanatoga (Evergreen Road) interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
