Recapping out Disability Resource Fair |
|
|
Earlier this month, our office hosted our first-ever Disability Resource Fair at Shared Wellness in Warrington.
The event was very well attended, and I was thrilled to give folks the opportunity to learn more about resources for people with disabilities. Thank you to Shared Wellness for hosting and thank you to all the vendors who attended! |

Recognizing a local Eagle Scout |

Recently, I was proud to present a House Citation to Eagle Scout Samuel Killenbeck.
Samuel, a Warrington resident and member of Troop 17, has displayed leadership and a love of service that I deeply admire.
I am sure he will go on to do amazing things. Keep up the great work, Samuel! |

Attending National Night Out |
|
|
It was great attending this year's National Night Out at Warminster Community Park! National Night Out is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the partnership between law enforcement and the communities they serve while bringing neighbors together in a fun, family-friendly setting.
Thank you to the Warminster Township Police Department, Warminster Fire Department, Hartsville Fire Company, EMS personnel, and all the first responders and volunteers who helped make this event such a success. |

PA Treasury launches new Financial Education Hub |
|
The PA Treasury has launched a new online Financial Education Hub, providing a centralized collection of resources to help Pennsylvanians improve their financial literacy and make informed financial decisions.
The hub covers topics including budgeting, saving, retirement planning, digital assets and cryptocurrency, along with information about Treasury programs such as PA 529, Keystone Scholars, and PA ABLE. Resources are tailored to groups including students, teachers, active-duty military members, veterans, and older adults.

State Police Recruiting New Troopers: Apply by September 30 |
|
|
The Pennsylvania State Police is expanding opportunities for students and aspiring law enforcement professionals through partnerships with colleges and universities. Through the Academy Internship Program, eligible college seniors can complete their final semester at the PSP Academy, earn academic credits, and begin their careers as a trooper after successfully completing cadet training.
As a former police officer, I can attest to the honor and purpose that come with serving in law enforcement, and I encourage qualified individuals to consider applying.
Interested students must apply by Sept. 30.
The 2026-27 state budget provides funding for approximately 380 new cadet appointments, reinforcing efforts to strengthen public safety and recruit the next generation of troopers. Learn more at https://patrooper.com/. |
