PennDOT Invites Pennsylvanians to Share Feedback on Winter Services
|
Safe travel on Pennsylvania roadways is a top priority for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), no matter the season. With spring beginning, PennDOT is seeking the public’s feedback on its services this winter through an online survey.
The survey is available through April 14 and should take about five minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous.
The 17-question survey asks respondents about their timeline expectations for safe and passable roadways, how they rank snow-removal priorities, and how they rate PennDOT’s winter services.
As always, you can check road conditions in PA by visiting www.511PA.com or calling 511.
You can also report roadway concerns, request assistance, and track issues with PA roads and bridges at CCC Home Page.
Our office is aware of the numerous potholes plaguing the district. Please know we have put in inquiries about the major potholes and have been assured that PennDOT crews are doing all they can to get out and fix them. They have had over 900 pothole reports since the beginning of March, so the crews are doing their best to fill potholes as the weather allows.

Tour at the Resilience Resource Center in Lower Moreland
|
Last Wednesday, I met with Joseph and Darrel, along with others, who founded and work at the Resilience Resource Center – a welcoming, safe place for the LGBTQ community to foster and build resilience skills by providing accessible health services, fostering safe-space educational environments, and teaching career skills to improve the quality of life in this community. They offer a variety of programs from youth programs that meet every Wednesday night to mental health programs and therapy, to career programs to help those in the LGBTQ community develop the skills needed to succeed in the workforce and improve quality of life. These programs are integral to the development of resilience, growth, optimism, hope, gratitude, and self-care in this community. The staff at the Resilience Resource Center is so talented and experienced. They have created a special place where members of the LGBTQ community can feel safe, heard, and grow. Thank you for taking the time to show us your new facility and we look forward to partnering with you in the future!

Joint Shred/E-Waste Event With Lower Moreland Police Department

Join us for our Free Shredding and E-Waste Event with the Lower Moreland Police Department on Saturday, May 16th from 10 a.m.-noon. This is a fantastic opportunity to protect your personal information while making a positive impact on your community!
Safely dispose of old documents and keep your sensitive information out of the wrong hands. Paper shredding is a powerful deterrent to identity theft, making it nearly impossible for thieves to reconstruct private details. Plus, shredding supports paper recycling, helping to reduce waste in landfills!
