BALLOT DROP BOXES for upcoming November elections available in District

Secure ballot drop boxes are open for the 2026 General Elections.

Montgomery County Board of Elections will operate multiple secure ballot drop boxes throughout the County to help voters meet the November 3, 2026 deadline. Residents can deposit mail-in ballots and absentee ballots at a secure ballot drop box as an alternative to returning their ballot by USPS mail.

Remember, you may only return your own ballot to a secure ballot drop box.

Ballots are collected from the drop boxes daily by County Security and stored securely at the Voter Services office.

There are two secure ballot drop boxes in our district, find the one closest to you:

  • Abington Township Municipal Building (1176 Old York Road, Abington, PA)
  • Upper Dublin Public Library (520 Virginia Drive, Fort Washington, PA)

Secure ballot drop boxes are available 24/7 through 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

To find other drop boxes in the area, go to: https://www.montgomerycountypa.gov/departments/voter-services/vote-mail/returning-your-mail-ballot.

Share Your Input on the Delaware River Basin's Water Resources

The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) is developing a Water Resources Resilience Plan to help the region better understand and prepare for climate and other hazards, such as flooding and drought, that could affect our water resources.

DRBC is asking residents throughout the Delaware River Basin to complete a brief survey about their awareness and concerns regarding potential threats to water resources.

The survey takes approximately three minutes to complete, and your input will help inform DRBC’s planning and efforts to build a more resilient Delaware River Basin.

Take the survey linked here.

Changes in Medicaid are coming!

Big changes are coming to Pennsylvania’s Medicaid program beginning January 1st, 2027. Under a new federal law, some adults ages 19-64 will need to meet new work and community-engagement requirements, and some Medicaid recipients will have their eligibility reviewed every six months instead of annually.

If you receive Medicaid, it is important to make sure that DHS has your current address and contact information so you do not miss notices about your benefits. You can update your information through COMPASS and sign up for text and email alerts from DHS.

Learn more about the upcoming Medicaid changes here.
