Your voices were heard:
PECO withdraws request for rate increase

Updating my previous emails regarding the grassroots efforts to oppose PECO’s proposed rate hikes, I’m pleased to share that our collective voices have made a real impact. PECO is withdrawing its request for a rate increase.

This outcome shows what’s possible when our community comes together and speaks out on issues that affect us all. At a time when households across southeastern Pennsylvania are already facing rising costs, this is an important step toward protecting affordability.

I want to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who signed the petition, shared their concerns, and helped amplify this effort – your engagement truly made the difference.

Moving forward, I will continue working closely with residents to address affordability challenges and ensure that your voices are heard on the issues that matter most.

Together, we’ve sent a clear message that affordability and fairness must come first – and that message will continue to matter moving forward.

Thank you again for your support.
