I am proud to announce that seven projects involving my legislative district have been awarded a combined $3.11 million in state funding through the Commonwealth Financing Authority’s Local Share Account program.

The grants will support projects that address critical needs across Bucks County, including strengthening the emergency services residents rely on every day, improving the safety and resilience of communities, and assisting local organizations and municipalities with important investments that will have a lasting impact on residents. The funding includes:

• Public Utility Service Vehicles – $126,400
• Bariatric Ambulance Acquisition – $387,126
• Ambulance Replacement and Equipment Procurement – $200,000
• Central Bucks County Special Response Team HazMat Equipment – $254,364
• Warminster Township Police Department Vehicles – $152,848
• Greenley Avenue Storm Sewer (Phase III) – $994,271
• Bucks County Blight Abatement Program – $1 million

As a former first responder, I know as well as anyone how strongly our communities depend on reliable emergency services and safe infrastructure. These projects address those needs, and I’m excited to watch the impact of these funds uplift our community for years to come.

All the projects have been funded through the statewide Local Share Account Program, which was established as an amendment to the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development and Gaming Act. The program allows for the distribution of gaming revenues through the Commonwealth Financing Authority to support projects in the public interest throughout Pennsylvania.

Last week, I was thrilled to attend the DART's 25th Anniversary event and grand opening of the DART East Line!

As many of you know, I have been advocating for an expansion of the Doylestown Area Regional Transit since I was sworn in; and to see the fruition of years of advocacy was surreal. Thank you to everyone who joined me in celebrating this amazing day for our community –and to the people who helped me in advocating for this much-needed expansion.

Last weekend, our office alongside the offices of Rep. Nancy Guenst and Rep. Melissa Cerrato hosted our annual Vet Expo at the VE Club here in Warminster.

As a Navy Veteran, I am always more than happy to host this event every year and connect veterans with the resources available to them – all while providing a nice German meal courtesy of the VE Club's cooks!

This past weekend, I had a great time at the New Britain Fall Festival!

It was wonderful to see some folks from the Chal-Brit emergency services, the county treasurer’s office, and Sen. Steve Santarsiero’s office—among other vendors. And of course, it’s always great to go out and chat with constituents!

Changes to Medicaid, also known as Medical Assistance in Pennsylvania, are coming on January 1, 2027, because of changes to federal law. More information is expected to be released, but here is what you need to know for now:

• Some adults will need to renew their Medicaid Plan every six months instead of annually.
• A new requirement means some adults enrolled in Medicaid will need to participate in work, school, job training, volunteering, or other community activities.

If you receive Medicaid, now is a good time to make sure your mailing address and contact information are up to date with DHS so you don’t miss important notices about these changes.

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives Legislative Fellowship Program is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2027 semester. I would greatly appreciate your support in helping recruit applicants for the program! Applications are due on October 1, 2026.

The Fellowship Program is based in Pennsylvania’s magnificent Capitol Building in Harrisburg. Fellows are assigned to work in House standing committees or House leadership offices, are compensated for their work (which may also include college credit), and are provided opportunities to draft and present their own legislation, attend meet-and-greets with various public officials and staff, and tour some of the Commonwealth’s historic public spaces, to name a few.

Qualified applicants will be:

• College undergraduate juniors or seniors, graduate students, or law school students;
• Enrolled in a Pennsylvania college/university, or a Pennsylvania resident enrolled in an out-of-state institution; and
• Pursuing any major with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

As we approach the General Election on Tuesday, November 3, here are some key dates to remember:

• Monday, Oct. 19 – Last day to register to vote.
• Tuesday, Oct. 27– Last day to apply for an absentee or mail-in ballot.
• Tuesday, Nov. 3 – Election Day: Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Voters must be in line by 8 p.m. to cast their ballot. Mail-in and absentee ballots must be received by your county election office by 8 p.m.

To find your polling location, update your voter information or for more voter services, visit vote.pa.gov.

To make our office’s constituent services as accessible as possible, I have established remote office hours at local township buildings throughout our legislative district.

We will be at the following locations from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on the days indicated:

• Warminster Heights: First Friday of every month; next is October 2.
• Warminster Township Building: First Tuesday of every month; next is October 6.
• Ivyland Borough: Second Tuesday of every month; next is October 13.
• New Britain Township Building: Second Wednesday of every month; next is October 14.
• Warrington Township Building: Third Tuesday every month; next is October 20.
• Warminster Library: Third Wednesday of every month; next is October 21.

To help focus on specific needs, my staff and I have established specialty hours when outside experts come in to guide our residents. An appointment is required for these hours. Please call 215-323-6997 to schedule.

• Veterans Services: 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM on the second Monday of every month; next session is October 12th. (Hours has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 5th)
• Advance Care Planning: First Wednesday of every month; next is October 7.
