$460,000+ STATE INVESTMENT

By encouraging our marinas and vineyards to use effective stormwater and sediment runoff management practices, we are helping protect our water and environment, which directly supports public health. This is a strong example of tax dollars being reinvested to improve the sustainability and well-being of our community.

The announcement continues my efforts to support funding for local projects through state investments. During this legislative session, I have helped secure more than $31.1 million in state funding for projects and services in the Erie region. Read more about this grant here.

WE CAN HELP YOU GET YOUR REBATE

Just a reminder, we will once again be helping people apply for their Property Tax & Rent Rebate this year. My dedicated staff and I will be working to help seniors, widows, widowers and people with disabilities apply to receive their rebates.

We will once again travel through the community to help people apply. Whether you used us in the past or need us for the first time, we want to help you. Contact us, and we will let you know how the program works and how we can help!

RETURNING TO MCDOWELL

I had the opportunity to reconnect with my alma mater this week and reflect on the profound impact public educators had on my life. Their guidance, mentorship, and belief in me helped shape who I am today and played a critical role in preparing me for a life of public service. A big THANK YOU to Mr. Hoderny and Mr. Margraf.

Thanks for having me back, McDowell & Millcreek Township School District!

HOW WE VOTED

The House returned to session this week. The House will return to Harrisburg on Monday for the start of three more days of scheduled voting. To see how we voted on all measures, go here.

HONORING THE MILLIONS WE LOST

Today, we stand with the global community in remembrance of the six million Jews and the millions of others murdered by the Nazi regime.

In this moment, “Never Again” must be more than a phrase—it must be a commitment in action. As antisemitism rises and social tensions deepen across our country, we are reminded that the Holocaust did not begin with mass violence, but with hateful rhetoric, exclusion, and the gradual stripping away of human dignity.

By honoring those who were lost, we renew our responsibility to build a nation—and a world—where history is confronted, truth is protected, and every person can live in safety and with dignity. 🕯️
