Dear Neighbors,
I hope you all enjoyed your Fourth of July weekend! Even though it was extremely hot out, I had a great time at the New Britain Tri-Municipal Parade—and if you haven’t checked out my final PA 250 video, make sure to do so!
I am also closely monitoring the situation following this weekend’s storms and outages; workers are already out helping to restore electricity, but please reach out if you have any concerns.
As always, if you need help with any state-related matters, feel free to reply to this email or call 215-323-6997.

Final PA 250 Video! Celebrating 250 Years of America
|
Our nation’s journey has never been easy. Through triumphs and setbacks, prosperity and hardship, war and peace, Americans have continually risen to meet the challenges of their time. Each generation has worked to move our country closer to the ideals of liberty, equality, and opportunity that inspired our founding.
As we mark this historic anniversary, we honor those who came before us, celebrate the progress we have made, and recommit ourselves to building a brighter future for generations to come.
Happy 250th Birthday, America.

Celebrating America's 250th at the Tri-Municipal Parade in New Britain
|
I had a great time at the Tri-Municipal Parade in New Britain this past Saturday to celebrate 250 years of the greatest country in the world—despite the heat!
Always good to see some familiar faces too!

Recognizing Two Patriotic Constituents
|
I wanted to share some amazing things that two of my constituents recently gifted our office.
First is a poem celebrating America, written by Regina Gillespie of Ann’s Choice.
|
The final three are spectacular works from Dorothy Arnold of Warminster Prints.
Thank you both so much!

Recognizing Marion Linhard and Carolyn Ferrari
|
Last week I had the privilege of presenting House Citations to Marion Linhard and Carolyn Ferrari at Christ’s Home here in Warminster.
The Citations celebrated Marion’s 102nd birthday and Carolyn’s 105th birthday! These ladies, despite being over one hundred years old, are full of life, wisdom, and humor. It was such a joy meeting them and getting to know their stories!

As a reminder, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed a bipartisan, commonsense budget to the Senate on April 14th. In which, my colleagues and I voted to invest in public education, support for law enforcement, and strengthen Pennsylvania’s economy, all while returning money to working families and not raising taxes.
The budget currently sits in the state Senate for consideration.

Legislation Moving to the Senate...
|
Last Monday, the House voted to prohibit ride-hail companies from using “surveillance pricing” techniques to upcharge customers.
House Bill 2512 would prohibit these companies from setting prices according to your device’s condition such as battery life, the number of wireless connections and the age of the device.
Plain and simple, you shouldn’t have to surrender your phone’s privacy just to get a ride home.
|
Additionally, my colleagues and I voted to fund bridge infrastructure across the Commonwealth.
HB2644 would authorizes $4.77 billion in additional bridge infrastructure projects across Pennsylvania for the 2026–2027 fiscal year.
The bill supplements the Commonwealth's existing Highway-Railroad and Highway Bridge Capital Budget Act by adding new state and local bridge projects for repair, rehabilitation, and replacement.
The legislation would permit the allocation of $3.8 billion for state-owned bridges and $962.3 million for locally owned bridges.
Municipalities would be eligible for state grants covering up to 80% of the non-federal share of approved local bridge projects, helping communities address critical infrastructure needs.
|
For education, HB2412 would provide annual state funding for Pennsylvania's state-related universities for the 2026–27 fiscal year.
The bill establishes annual appropriations, outlines the schedule for distributing funds, and includes accountability measures such as financial reporting, recordkeeping requirements, and oversight by the Auditor General.
In addition to funding university operations, HB 2412 provides support for the Agricultural College Land Scrip Fund and sets conditions governing the use of state appropriations.
