Patch Report: Potholes filled in D7
|
Requests to fill potholes are consistently among the most frequent service requests the City receives via Get It Done. Given the keen public interest, the City’s Transportation and Performance & Analytics departments worked together to create the Patch Report – a comprehensive overview of pothole repairs.
The Patch Report provides an overview of pothole requests completed in July, August, and September 2026. During this time, 280 pothole service requests were closed in District 7. The report reflects the City’s continued commitment to maintaining safe, reliable, and accessible roadways across the City.
Citywide, there were nearly 2,600 pothole service requests in the three-month period while crews patched 10,468 potholes. When crews respond to a service request, they have been instructed to fill any additional potholes they see in the surrounding area. This approach helps maximize efficiency and fills many potholes before they get reported

Progress report: Speed Management Plan
|
The City’s Transportation Department has been working hard to implement the Comprehensive Speed Management Plan. The installation of new speed limit signs on eligible corridors and near schools kicked off in July.
In-house crews began at the southern end of the city, prioritizing school zones in each area while working generally south to north across the city. This efficient approach will help crews meet the target of completing full implementation by June 2027.
