I believe Pennsylvania’s tax code needs to keep pace with today’s digital economy. While working families continue to pay their fair share, major tech corporations are generating billions in digital advertising revenue without contributing adequately to the commonwealth.
This is why I am a co-sponsor of House Bill 1678, which was recently discussed by the House Finance committee and would ensure these companies help fund the schools, infrastructure, public transit, and public services Pennsylvanians rely on every day — without raising taxes on working people.
This is a commonsense step toward a fairer tax system that asks the wealthiest corporations to invest back into the communities where they do business.
