Dear Neighbor,

Tuesday was Election Day, and I want to thank the thousands of poll workers, election officials, and volunteers across Chester County who dedicated their time and energy to ensuring every eligible voter had the opportunity to participate in our democracy. Their dedication to public service helps ensure that elections are administered fairly, securely, and efficiently, and they play a vital role in maintaining public confidence in our democratic process.

You can see Tuesday’s full results here.

I am grateful for the opportunity to once again serve the people of central Chester County in Pennsylvania’s 155th Legislative District. Serving as your representative is an immense honor, and I am committed to working with my colleagues on the challenges before us as we continue to help build a bright future for Chester County and our commonwealth.

Next Monday and Tuesday, the House returns to session to conduct any unfinished legislative business, give retiring members the opportunity to deliver parting remarks, and begin the process of leadership elections and caucus reorganization for the 2027-2028 legislative session.

My colleagues and I are ready to hit the ground running to tackle the challenges families discuss around their kitchen tables every day, from the rising cost of groceries, housing, and utility bills to access to quality schools, reliable transportation, affordable health care, and good-paying jobs that can support a family. There is more work to be done to lift up Pennsylvanians, strengthen and protect our communities, and put our commonwealth on a path toward a brighter, more prosperous future. I am energized by the work ahead, optimistic about what we can accomplish together, and ready to get to work.

While this week marks the end of the 2025-2026 legislative session, my commitment to serving the people of the 155th District remains unchanged. Whether you have an idea to share, a concern about an issue affecting our community, or need assistance navigating state government, my office is always here to help. Some of the best ideas come from conversations with constituents, and I encourage you to continue reaching out, staying engaged, and sharing your thoughts. Together, we can ensure that the progress we make in Harrisburg reflects the needs, priorities, and aspirations of the people we serve.

Thank You, Team Otten!

This week, I had the opportunity to bring together members of both my District Office and Harrisburg staff to reflect on the conclusion of the 2025-26 legislative session and the work ahead in 2027.

I often have the privilege of being the public face of our office, but none of our work would be possible without the dedicated team working behind the scenes every day. Whether they are helping constituents navigate state programs and services, addressing concerns and resolving issues, preparing legislation, conducting policy research, organizing community events, or responding to the many emails and phone calls our office receives, Team Otten plays an essential role in serving the people of the 155th District.

I am incredibly grateful for their hard work, professionalism, and commitment to public service. Their dedication helps ensure that our office remains responsive, accessible, and focused on meeting the needs of our community. I am proud of all that we have accomplished over the past legislative sessions, and I look forward to the important work that still lies before us.
