TSA Announces Alternate ID Verification System
|
The Federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced this week that it will refer all flight passengers who do not present an acceptable form of ID and still want to fly, an option to pay a $45 fee to use a modernized alternative identity verification system to establish identity at security checkpoints beginning on February 1, 2026.
Travelers will have to pay $45 to use this system, TSA Confirm.ID, for a 10-day travel period. TSA urges travelers who do not have a REAL ID to schedule an appointment at their local DMV to update their ID as soon as possible.
For more information, please visit: https://www.tsa.gov/.../tsa-introduces-new-45-fee-option...
Reminder: This is a federal program - please contact your Congressperson with any questions or issues.

On Friday evening, I had the privilege of helping turn the switch on the Hatboro Christmas Tree along with other community leaders and Santa and Mrs. Claus! It was a cold night, but the community turnout was amazing as we sang carols and lit up the beautiful Christmas tree in front of the Union Library of Hatboro.
After the lighting, I was thrilled to host my annual Holiday Open House and invite constituents in from the cold to enjoy hot cocoa and cookies and chat with them about their holidays, state issues, and everything in between!
What a great evening to kick off the holiday season!

On Sunday, we hosted a Pet Meet & Greet event with Hart 2 Heart Animal Rescue and Lucky Pups Dog Rescue. The pups were decked out with their holiday collars, and the kitties were playful and happy to be snuggled! We had a lot of people stop by to meet the pets and hopefully found a few their “fur”ever homes!
Many thanks to Hart 2 Heart and Lucky Pups for doing the volunteer work they do to find these animals good homes and save many of them from unsafe situations. We appreciate you and the work you do!
And thank you to those who donated to our Pet Adoption Drive! All your donations will go to help these organizations continue to care for these animals and find them loving homes.
