A Budget that Delivers

Pennsylvania families deserve a budget that makes life more affordable, strengthens our communities, and creates opportunities for the future. That’s exactly what the 2026–27 state budget delivers—without raising taxes.

This budget makes meaningful investments that:

  • Strengthen our schools with continued investments into public education, school safety, special education, career training, and higher education.
  • Keep communities safe through increased violence prevention, first responder funding, after school programs, and services for survivors of crime.
  • Help working families keep more of what they earn through tax relief, while making housing, utilities, and back-to-school shopping more affordable.
  • Grow our economy by creating jobs and supporting small businesses, while also encouraging economic expansion through agricultural development and workforce training across Pennsylvania.
  • Give retired teachers, firefighters, and police officers long overdue raises.
  • Supports seniors, veterans, and retirees through increased retirement security and expanded access to important services.

This budget is focused on practical solutions that help families succeed today while building a stronger Pennsylvania for tomorrow. By investing in education, affordability, public safety, and economic opportunity, we are delivering results that improve everyday life for Pennsylvanians, all while not increasing taxes.
