You have a voice in Harrisburg. I’ve made it my mission to be the biggest advocate and fighter for this region and represent you – the people in our community. My dedicated team and I have helped secure more than $31.5 million in state funding for local projects during this legislative session.
That’s more money for our high-performing schools, law enforcement, first responders, utility upgrades, local businesses and neighborhood nonprofits. Each dollar invested by the state is one less dollar local taxpayers will be asked to shoulder the burden of in the coming years.

To see how we voted on all measures, go here. Following several weeks of budget hearings and Policy Committee hearings in Harrisburg, the House is scheduled to return to session in March, unless recalled sooner by the Speaker of the House.

EXAMINING HOW TO HELP MORE PEOPLE
|
As the House Majority Policy Committee Chairman, and a member of the House Majority Leadership team, I travel the state with the Policy Committee to hear from workers, seniors, advocates, business leaders, and officials on emerging topics and initiatives. We examine how policies are helping people across the state or learn how we can pass reforms to help even more people.
The Policy Committee returns to Harrisburg for each of the next three weeks for hearings on various topics, including protecting seniors, usage of AI in health care, universal pre-K and more.
In the 2025-26 session we've held 49 hearings across 38 communities. We've had 42 representatives who serve as hosts of hearings and roundtables, providing unique perspectives from around the state.
UP NEXT: The committee will host hearings Feb. 24 and 25 in Harrisburg.

MUNICIPAL POLICE TRAINING ACADEMY
|
Law enforcement agencies across the commonwealth continue to face significant recruitment challenges. Mercyhurst University Municipal Police Training Academy’s next basic police training class is scheduled to begin in July 2026. There is still time to apply!
This academy serves municipal and regional agencies throughout Northwestern Pennsylvania by preparing professional, well-trained officers who meet all the requirements. I'm hopeful qualified and motivated individuals living in my district will be interested in pursuing a career in public service through law enforcement.
Anyone interested may seek out more information about the program and the application process here.
