As our technological landscape rapidly evolves, we as legislators have an obligation to ensure the safety of our consumers. The emergence of artificial intelligence offers significant benefits to society; however, without appropriate regulation, AI risks becoming as lawless as the Wild West. This technology presents real dangers, and it is our duty to safeguard our citizens.
