Dear Neighbors,

Yesterday, millions of Americans headed to the polls to participate in the 2026 General Elections. Pennsylvanians made their voices heard and came together to help shape the future of our communities and our Commonwealth. Thank you to everyone who voted, volunteered, or stepped forward to run; your participation is what makes our democracy strong.

It’s an honor to serve my neighbors and representing the 144th District. Let’s continue to build on the progress we’ve made!

In this week’s e-newsletter, I am proud to share details regarding several events I recently attended within the district, as well as information pertaining to our upcoming Senior SEPTA Pass Event.

As always, if you need help with any state-related matter, feel free to reply to this email or call 215-323-6997.

Sincerely,

Honoring Officer Lieutenant Ron DeLuca’s Retirement

I recently had the honor of attending Lieutenant Ron DeLuca’s retirement celebration and presenting him with an official House citation recognizing his 30 years of dedicated service in the Warminster Township Police Department.

Before beginning his career in law enforcement, Lt. DeLuca proudly served our country in the United States Army as a military police officer. Throughout his distinguished career with Warminster Township, he served in numerous roles, including Accident Reconstructionist, Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, and overseeing the Criminal Investigation Division. He was also an original member of the Central Bucks Special Response Team, where he served as Team Leader.

Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement, Lt. DeLuca! Thank you for your decades of service, and I wish you all the best in this next chapter!

Central Bucks Response Team Receives Grant Check for Hazmat Equipment

Today, I was happy to present a $254,364 grant check to support the Central Bucks County Special Response Team with the purchase of essential hazmat equipment!

As a former law enforcement officer and first responder, I understand firsthand the importance of ensuring our emergency response teams have the tools and resources they need to keep our communities safe.

I’m proud to help secure this funding and I will continue to support our first responders, strengthen emergency preparedness, and enhance public safety throughout Bucks County.

Grant Check for the Warminster Township Police Department

I recently had the pleasure of presenting a $152,848 grant check to Warminster Township to help replace two vehicles for the Warminster Township Police Department!

Our local police officers work tirelessly to keep our neighborhoods safe, and it's important that we provide them with the resources they need to do their jobs effectively.

Having served in law enforcement myself, supporting our men and women in uniform will always be a priority of mine. This funding will help modernize the department’s fleet while easing the financial burden on local taxpayers.

I'm always happy to bring state funding back to our communities and support those who dedicate their lives to protecting our residents!

Notice of Upcoming Medicaid Changes

Changes to Medicaid, also known as Medical Assistance in Pennsylvania, are starting January 1, 2027, because of changes to federal law. More information is expected to be released, but here is what you need to know for now:

  • Some adults will need to renew their Medicaid Plan every six months instead of annually.
  • A new requirement means some adults enrolled in Medicaid will need to participate in work, school, job training, volunteering, or other community activities.

If you receive Medicaid, now is a good time to make sure your mailing address and contact information are up to date with DHS so you don’t miss important notices about these changes.
